Who is this guy? Wow!

thats a prime candidate to switch sports. he looks like a pro bb'er waiting to happen

looks photoshopped to me

Yeah, this guy is massive. When people ask me just how big I would like to get. I show them that picture and tell them 'that's almost big enough'....LOL

who the fuck would wanna look like that? wowsers, lol. is he trimmed down big time he'd be a monster. hes just a big blob right now.

i take it you dont bulk. bulking is just that adding water muscle and fat. it lets you put on more muscle faster. then when you want to look good say for a show (this guy doesn't because he's not a bb'er) you cut. 99% of people would get much bigger muscles then they do if they really bulked instead of these half versions.

I doubt this is a real image. just sayin

i do my whole body gets all puffy just like that photo only smaller of course but the juice mixed with 7000 cals and a shit load of water does it quick for me. guess i was wrong to asume you where one of the many on here with the stay skinny all the time theory.

NO SIR!, lol. im on anadrol and test right now, lol. im a huge fan of bulking cause i love to grow and eat BIG. right now im 205 lbs...12% BF...not too bad while eating pizza...cottage cheese..and MEAT, lol! pretty damn strong to. oh yeah..im only 5'8".

i think its real. regardless hes my fucking hero. id take 26'' bi's over a skinny waiste any day. (not the synthol deformed looking shit just real muscles) but thats just me.

Look at the vertical bars on the bicycle rack barricade in the background and you can see some of the linear distortions caused by the obvious altererations to this image.

IMO bulking up that much doesnt work. All you do is end up fat, period. THen you have to diet down. Not only is it unhealthy, it doesnt make your muscles grow anymore. Some pro bodybuilders actually grow into their contest weight. Yeah, they are lighter weight in the offseason and then gain lean muscle up to the contest. Phil Hernon and Kevin Levrone are good examples. There are more. Bulking up like that can lead to lose skin etc, and that never goes away.

it is unhealthy like most of what we do. but it also helps grow muscles bigger and faster. it also creates more room for muscle loss during contest prep. thats where the diet drugs/steroid cycles come into play. again more unhealthy but bigger muscles. all up to the person i guess. but imo your not bulking unless you are putting on fat and muscle.

Just look at the example of Trey Brewer. He placed low in this past years nationals if I remember right. He looked worse than he had the year before. Looked years older and had nowhere the physique he had the previous year. He bulked up to well over 300 lbs and paid the price later.
I know from my previous personal experience in bodybuilding that when I consumed massive amounts of calories, and yes most of them were quality, all I did was put on extra bodyfat. Consuming more than the amount of calories and nutrients you need to maintain and then build your muscle is going to be stored as bodyfat. You are only capable of building a minute amount of muscle in a given time, and when you take in more than is needed for that its going to fat, bottom line.
In my example I had bulked up to a riduclous 265 lbs in the effort to put on muscle. I got with Phil Hernon and within a few months I was down to 225 lbs and a little bit STRONGER. I was squating 455 lbs for 8 reps at 265 and by the time I hit 225 several months later I could easily do 455 for 12 reps.
Only reason you would get stronger while you put on fat is due to the extra leverage you get with bigger limbs and torso. This is great if youre a powerlifter, but not for bodybuilding.

there is a bit more benefit than leverage in it for me but everyone is different.
