Brain-storming some names here...

Tom Platz, Dave Draper, Ed Corney, Robby Robinson, Mike Katz, Serge Nubret (saw Mavy's thread and got me thinking), Milos Scarcev, Eddy Robinson, Darrem Charles, Lee Priest, Shawn Ray, etc. These are just names I could think of--feel free to add more.

I realize some of these physiques are GENERATIONS apart, as are the genetics that evolve with time. Still, in YOUR opinion (and I know how you guys like to post your $0.02):

*Which competitive bodybuilder has received the LEAST amount of recognition, titles, or overall attention for the physiques they've built for themselves?*

Jump on this one guys. Want to hear some input.

My money is on Tom Platz--to anyone who saw "The Comeback" DVD on the 1980 Olympia, you'd probably agree with me. He has NEVER looked as full or as cut (legs AND upper body) as he did for that Olympia, and he didn't even place in the top 6.

Shawn Ray and Kevin Levrone. Stay in shape year round. They rarely weigh over 230. Also two class acts, very nice guys. I've emailed Shawn Ray before and he was pretty cool. It didn't seem like responding to my emails was a chore to him but it was pretty cool.

gotta go with Shawn Ray. He's big, ripped and proportioned, but I think his height has been what has hurt him.

I liked Francis Benfatto. His muscles were dramatically shaped. Then he disappeared from the IFBB, supposedly because he was gay and being treated poorly.

Me. MOFO!

hahahahaha :p

Francis Benfatto discriminated against because of being gay? The IFBB is so gay I thought it stood for International Faggot Body Builders. That's like saying so-and-so didn't make it in rap because he's too black.

Serge Nubret outclassed everyone, and got a show place for his effort. He was an outsider. He was probably the best of all time.

Nowadays (like 90's on), white bodybuilders are very discriminated against, like Jay, because Weider finds it more economically advantageous to artificially promote black and hispanic bodybuilders because the market for his bullshit is better in those crowds.

He has never cared if he kills bodybuilding after he wrings it dry. He always has treated a great sport like his personal cum rag. He just wipes when he finishes fucking people over.

Berry Demey, Vince Taylor, JJ Marsh, Aaron Baker, Jim Quinn, Lee Labrada.
