Who Is The Most Under-Rated BB Of All Time?

Serge Nubret was awesome, and wasn't he just off 40 when he went up against Arnie in the 'Pumping Iron' Olympia.

I'm not sure if I really buy the Shawn Ray and Lee Priest claims. I just don't think that they are as proportioned as they claim, they always look blocky to me, just mini-Dorians/Colemans. Its hard for a short guy to carry mass and still look graceful. Thats why Arnie always beat Columbo, not just because he was weighed more.

Of the moderns I rate Levrone, ripped, big, proportioned and keeps some poise- no shredded pot-belly in sight.

Why are you guys saying Shawn Ray? He's a great BB and he placed in the top 5 in the O for 10 years straight. I wouldn't say he was overlooked. Far from it. He just happened to be competing during a time period when there were 3 very dominant Mr. O's. He got and still gets plenty of press.

i went to college with jim quinn at the university of NH back in the early 80s. jim was a football player back then and huge and built. was kind of surprise to see him in the magazines as a pro BB a few years later.

i always thought jusup wicosz was amazingly built. he was from the whole arnold/frank zane era. you don't see his name very much. he looks very small for today's standards, but aesthecally perfect.
