lol, that actually pretty much sums it up for monkeys, apes and the less sophisticated portion of society

staring is a sign of aggression, often followed by a contest and the winners prize is the right to mate

Recall being stoned at Singapore zoo, in the monkey enclosure, a baboon sat directly in front of me and stared me right in the eye for ten minutes straight, like he was trying to communicate something, there were moments where it became noticeably uncomfortable, and there were moments when he looked like he was about to reach out and tear my face off, but then focused on the glass between us, and remembered, he then proceeded to pick and scratch his anus for a bit and wandered off, not quite sure where I’m going with this monkey flashback, it was freaky though.
