No reason to bomb innocent members just for fun, just because someone needs to spread their K. If green comes out of your own points, then should the red hits too. Quite simple. Red is not the new green, there are people who don't give fuck about your K games, yet they don't wanna be victims of unnecessary bombs/red hits.

What if we only seek out people who have made truly contemptable, ass-clownish posts? Unhelpful responses to steroid questions, insulting comments about member pictures, that sort of thing?

No. Red hits should not come out of your own stash. George changed the green points so that inflation would stop due to new points being added to the karma "economy". Well, red hits do not add any points to the system, in fact they take points out of circulation. They are not inflationary.

One of the reasons I like EF is that it seems to be ever-evolving, with occasional dramatic changes that knock off a quarter of the regular posters and/or mods.

Innocent? The so-called victims have been guilty of various forms of ass-clownery, from giving ludicrously bad steroid advice to mocking members' pictures. Isn't that what red karma is for?

Stupid would be to make draconian policy changes and then being surprised when users lash out.
 
I guess I'm just not understanding here. We have karma, bombs, and g-bombs, we're encouraged to use them all, any reason to bomb someone is going to be subjective, maybe you just don't like the cut of their jib? At the end of the day, we're all operating within the confines of the system right?

Okay, after a year of playing the game your way, what's to come of it? Are you guys selling lots of karma now? Has this exercise in fun-killing been a smashing success for you? Has it increased the feeling of good will between users and admin?
