I'm nowhere close. Heh..even "nowhere close" doesn't describe how far away I am from being a millionare.
A lot of my clients (well, all my clients now that I think about it) are millionares, and for the most part they're just normal folks who happen to be self-employed, hard workers, and total fucking tightwads. Which is how they got to be rich in the first place I guess. lol

Honestly, from your posts I assumed that's exactly how you attained your current status. If I'm wrong, feel free to enlighten me.
My situation is hard to use as an example; I met an extremely wealthy (Forbes list type wealth in multiple industries) individual and we worked together in some new businesses.
Your own business, hard work, and thriftiness is the way to go, 100%. I was lucky, I got to skip the thrifty part.
I could also throw in "cut down the number ofpeople with whom you associate to a small group of true friends".

some of my buddies (under 30) got there just through appreciation of assets that were paying themselves off at the time
in australia a pharmacist opening a pharmacy from scratch does it virtually overnight. (over a week)
