Who here Draw when injecting?

Am I the only one that thought... since I just gave my self my first shot that aspirating is VERY DIFFICULT to do? Does the type of syringes make a difference?

i dont really draw the plunger far enough to move, just enough to make a vacuum bubble in the gear. if you see that, you are golden.

Aspirating is maybe a little fiddly but I wouldn't describe it as difficult. Try practicing with just a syringe.

I've never had a gusher but I've drawn a small amount of blood many times. Just pull out and re-stick. It's your own blood and still fresh so there's no real need to throw it out.

I had a tetanus jab in the delt recently. If the nurse aspirated then she did it faster than I could follow. She didn't even ask me whether I'd already stuck that shoulder earlier in the day.
