Who has ever USED brass knucks before? Got a question

Ok, you put them on and is it my imagination or do they actually spread the knuckle/joint of your pinkie out further. I mean the frame sort of sits in the groove there kind of deep and tight. I can only imagine if I punched someone with them, the impact of hitting the person would probably drive it so far into that webby part between the pinky finger and ring finger the skin would rip.

In 6th grade I lived in hick ass Ohio for 9 months. all those dumb hicks used to do was fight each other. we used to walk around with penny roles taped up with electrical tape and put them in our hand when we hit someone. sooooooo geigh

yeah every pair I have picked up seems to be too awkward to use.

I have a set that I inherited from my brother, but I've never hit anyone or anything with them. Just holding them, though, it feels more like they'd reinforce and protect the hand, rather than cause injury to the user.

They aren't made to come up with a straight hit they're made for a glancing blow from the index finger to the third finger....errr...yea.....so I've been told.
