swole said:PWO should be all about simple carbs, preferably some malto/dextrose and whey protein in a 3:1 ratio, you pretty much want to create an insulin spike and add some fast absorbing protein to the mix
oats are low on the glycemic index, they are absorbed slowly
eggs are also a slow absorbing protein (as opposed to whey), you're better off eating eggs in the AM or before bed
