Who are these idiots that praise John Gotti?

I saw this on the news yesterday, people trying like mad to touch his coffin and praising him. What the fuck, seriously. This guy was "slime". I respect him in the way that he had a lot of power and whatever, but the guy murdered a lot of people. I don't get it. The guy was fitlth, pretty much, and yet the same people who praise him probably are the same people who are all for the death penalty for people who murder others (except for Gotti of course).

I don't get it, seriously, what am I missing here, apparently something. There can't be this many people in America who praise a murderer without due reason. Come on, please someone tell me what good things he did.
