The book "Dont Know Much About Mythology" by Kenneth C. Davis states this over and over again...you'd like it.

I'll check out this one AND the one by Graves.
Davis' book doesn't target Christianity specifically, he chronologically goes through many Mythos and the similarities are scary, if not unsettling. I was unsettled anyway.
