I would not buy an X-type Jaguar. Since Ford now owns them the low-end X-type line vehicles are actually Fords with a Jaguar body. The other lines are still actually Jags.

S-type shares its platform with the Lincoln LS and the Ford Thunderbird. Only the XJ is still a proper Jag.
