I am needing to inject into quad since my glutes are getting too hard to reach. I am hitting delts now and havent ever hit quads. I see on site injections there are four spots to hit. What spot is easiest, least painful , less chance of hitting something serious? I appreciate your help.

with a one inch needle it is very very very hard to hit a main artery. Youll be fine in the outer QUAD. Easiest way is to place your hand palm down where your femur meets the knee go above that and the same at the hip joint. This is what I do at work or did at work to make it easier to shoot in the quad.

I only ever do outer - almost side of thigh, about nut sack height.

Yea the giher the better for more meat.

For the love of god, the femoral artery runs near the inner thigh. Hit that and you'll be sorry. Only ever do the outside if you have to. Quad shots make me more nervous than anything else. I'd rather hit my eyeball than my femoral artery.

Yea but it is easier to hit with 1 in in the groin.

If you are going furhter down the mid thigh then you have less chance of hitting it. I personally dont like quads cause they are the most painful for me. I will do them once every blue moon.
