I mainly do a 4x6 routine for my larger muscles, and 3x8-10 on smaller muscles. I find my body responds best with heavy weights and low volume. A really good program to check out is needsize's 5x5 routine, there is a link in the training methods sticky at the top of the page, along with a lot of other routines. Check it out, there is a ton of good information in it.
