Which car to buy?

Alright guys, which of these cars should I get?

1999 Audi A4 2.8L V6 with all options 36,000 miles

1999 Toyota 4Runner LTD with all the options 42,000 miles

2000 Dodge Durange SLT plus w/ all the options 30,000 miles


And i know some of you will say "go with a 69 camaro, chevelle, etc." - i've already tried that route and it's just not a good option for me. Thanks.

Well what do you WANT?? I mean you posted a car and two SUV's. Drive all three and get the one that you like the best. Audi's are nice but I can't get over the fact that you can get a VW (they use VW motors) for alot less.

Definitly NOT the Dodge unless you are good with Transmissions.

Toyota, Quality and durability. Do you need an SUV? Remember it will NOT have a SPORTY ride.

Audi will be sweet but may require more Maintenance than the Yoda. Little things like windows, switches, lights, etc...

Get a Chevrolet Blazer... I had 2 of them.. both ran until over 300K miles... when I sold them. I have worked on all kinds of cars from Chevy to Porche.. I will never own anything but a Chevy for as long as I live.

Of the three you listed - - go for the 4Runner. I have had two 4Runners : 94 and 96. Both were very reliable, sharp looking SUV's. The 99 Body style still looks like the 2001. The Audi A4 has been refreshed this year. The Dodge is a POS. My Bro In Law has had his dodge in the shop for both mechanical and quality issues.

Damn...I have a Suburban so not much difference than a Blazer...but 300K miles......AND you sold them!?!
Don't think I could buy something with that many miles on it!

first off the durango - cool truck but it's starting to look a little bit dated. that and they are notorious for getting pretty terrible gas mileage and they don't hold up well.

the 4-Runner - i'm sorry but this is a chick SUV. if you are a guy you shouldn't be driving it unless it was given to you or you lost a bet. especially if it's white...you might as well have that vanity mirror down at all times applying makeup to yourself. right now i have 4 female friends with 4-runners.

get the audi. the interior is phat and you won't get raped on gas mileage, nor will you be emasculated while driving it around.

4 runners are good trucks

and audi's are good cars, 2.8 is fast. if you wanted to go nuts, go with a 98 and get a S4, fucking awsome car

sorry...forgot to mention the fact that the first year 4-Runners are not vaginamobiles. the ones in the 80s that had the removable top were definitely all testosterone. didn't want to offend anyone that had one of those...

ok i think even without the hottie sticker and the pink fur steering wheel that you have landed yourself into vaginaland with that car. sunfires are chick cars although i can't really bag on them too hard because they are considered right on that line of being an economy car and it's not people's fault that they can only afford cars in that price range. but when i see dudes fork out $20K+ for something that is so blatantly a bitch ride like a white Prelude or big white 4-Runner i feel they need to be called out.

i am the ruling authority on what is a chick car and what isn't so if you are unsure of whether or not you should be wearing a skirt while driving your car or whether or not you should break down crying in front of the officer when you get pulled over for speeding, just ask me. i'll be completely honest.

a 91 metro huh. the poor man's chevette. i think you can get one for the price of a pretty decent bicycle now.



toyota is more durable than dodge.
