Where to go from now? (3x5)

Been using the 3x5 system for 2 1/2 months now. Started at 152 lbs and nearly 170 lbs. I see a difference, although I'm definitley not satisfied. Should I continue on with the program?

I'm still going up consinstently with all the workouts, except the bench press. I've seem to a hit a roadblock with that, mainly due to poor form I'm sure.

If nearly all of your lifts are still going up, why would you stop?

Bench usually stalls first because most guys trained it more than any other lift in the past. That's not to say it couldn't be a form issue, just that there are other explanations and that it's not necessarily something to beat yourself up about. Just lower your bench and ramp back up to your current max over 3-4 weeks.

You're probably right. This 3x5 system is the first system I've used, and before that the only workout I would use is a bench. I'll lower it 10-15 lbs and go from there.

The results I have are good, although I have a tad more fat then I would like due to the fact that I'm bulking. Someone said to do sprints in another thread to lose some belly fat, and I might do that 2-3x a week.

My diet seem's fine, although a lot of my protein (fish and chicken) are put through the microwave due to the fact that I'm not your best cook. I don't know how much of a problem that is.

Microwaves are fine - not loosing any protien to them...

If it ain;t broke don;t fix it...

Belly fat is made the same place it is lost...kitchen. Period. Sprinting won't make you fat, but food will. Sprinting may help you loose weight, but nothing like a solid diet.
