Where can I buy a cheap bench + weight set?

I'm moving into a new apt. far away from any gym, so how much and where can I get a bench, barbell and some plates? Any reputable inexpensive online retailers anyone can recommend?

But your right if you can't pick that up, it would cost you way more in shipping charges.

NY barbell.com has a big variety at all prices.

Sports Authority also has some good stuff. Not sure about the benches but a 315 pound Olympic set for $99 when on sale. When it's not on sale it's about $129 or $139. Comes with an Olympic barbell too. Of course it's made in China but $99. Fuck it. I got 4 sets for my basement. A barbell for every bench and rack 2 for deadlifts and rows with all the weights on them so I don't have to keep stripping shit down.

hell yah... i've got myself one-a-dem!

Only thing that pisses me off about it is the "grooved" "ends" ... not sure if they have a name.... the end piece that you load plates on to, they're grooved... and the plates scrape them causeing metal "slivers" to go everywhere... it's sloppy. If i start using it again, i'm going to get a new OLY bar with smooth ends.
