When you leave voicemail messages....

What pisses me off even more is when I get hang up messages on my work voicemail. My outgoing message is a good twenty seconds long, so that means that whoever was calling waits for the phone to ring 4 times, then waits another 20 seconds to hear my outgoing message, then hangs up AFTER the beep.

Fuckers.

I met this guy a few months ago. When I was being introduced to him, i got distracted and i didn't catch his name. We exchanged numbers and started talking. So I met him again 3 days ago. We had coffee and i still don't know his name. Isn't that horrible lol
I feel embarrased asking him. And everytime he calls he is like hey its me.

That's pretty funny, but trust me I'm really bad with names.
You either need to trick him into telling you his name or just come out and be honest about it. Maybe ask him for his e-mail and hopefully his name would be in addy. When I was on vacation in Greece on three separate occasions I started speaking to people and not just did I not remember their names i didn't even remember meeting them so I'd reintroduce myself and they'd look at me like I was crazy. Pretty embarassing...

lolol There is no way i could tell him the truth. I've spoken to him sooo many times lol. It doesn't look right. I would be upset if someone forgot my name. I have his email but his name is not on it. I might ask him to see his school ID, He is in med school at NYU. I think thats an idea...

Im bad with names. Really bad.

What I do is take out my phone and say "I just want to make sure I spelled it correctly. How do you spell your name?"

Works like a charm. If the response is some normal name like "Sarah" my reply would be "Yeah, I didnt know if it had an H or not at the end."
