There are no wolves in sheeps clothing. There are signs, sometimes we just refuse to see them.
Don't hate...that means he takes your energy. Well no, I take that back, this is fresh. Hate, bit only for a short time, then move on.
Most people are VERY transparent when you chose to look closer.

same here....but then when he came crawling back 2 years later asking for me back and I said NO, his heart was broken.
Oh well, that break up with him after 11 yrs was THE BEST thing that ever happened to me

So a friend trying to jar you out of your own stupidity is not a friend? You can speak your mind and still be a friend.
Words mean little in that situation and holding someone's hand that made an obvious mistake is not something a friend would do.
You can be sensitive and speak your mind while still being a good friend.
