I'm young and I feel like a loser sometimes by not going out, but then I just remeber times I do and its just a bunch of drunk times I could do without. The only thing I miss about going out every weekend is all the hot girls but oh well i enjoy being healthier a lot more and I use my friends calling me a homo for not going out as motivation to stick to my strict diet and training.

I hear you man, we're in the same boat. I'm 22 and getting ready for my seinor year of college football. Right now its 7pm friday night and everyones running around drunk, girls are all dolled up. People are on their way to the clubs and I'm cooking 3 chicken breasts and getting my workout gear on to hit the gym for a shoulder workout.
Sometimes I feel like i'm missing out on all the fun drunk times that make college so great, but if I went out tonight and got wasted I'd be pissed at myself in the morning.
I just keep myself focused on the fact that on saturday afternoons next fall all these kids will be in the stands watching me play because I was willing to sacrifice more than they were.

if Im not running orals, which I dont anymore I will go out for a few beers once a week to be social, but thats it,no hardcore partying that would effect my gains drastically.

I figure I wont ever compete so why restrict my social life for a meal

My social life stays the same. I am not going to obess myself just by being on a cycle and will not obess myself over missing a meal. I still go out with friends, go clubbing, do everyday normal things. Who cares if I dont gain as much as I would be being 100% strict and counting every calorie. I still get my protein requirements, but also like to enjoy my life. Whats the point of living like a prisoner. I know some people who social life takes a big dive as soon as they go on a cycle. I never understood this.

The past few weeks my social life has been non-existant. I don't go out for periods longer than 2 hours, b/c I stay on a strict eating schedule. And forget about going out on weekends, I've been staying away from alcohol like the plague. I lift, sleep, eat, and not much else. Going a little crazy here. What about the rest of you?

Refer to one of my Avitars!

I love going out and being seen, but wont drink while im on..I feel good as it is, so just a little more laid back and enjoy the enviroment and the constant "wow you gained weight" comments.

It is funny how hardcores think a beer or two once a week will ruin your cycle! I could see if you were getting ready for a show. Do you think a beer is anywhere near as toxic as using shit that was made for horses/cattle/ and dogs? Dont get me wrong I to am a occasional user and lift 12 months out of the year for the last 10 years, but damn you have to enjoy life a little. Dont be that guy that is a obvious juicer, people (including chicks) pick up on that kind of shit. Moderation is the key-to anything.

I agree with you, but I know me. If I go out, I'm not having one or two drinks and that's it. When I go out, I go all out. It's just my nature. And I don't want to make a habit out of it, especially when cycling. I find it best just to avoid everything - a double-edged sword, but hopefully the results will be well worth it

I understand a lot of my boys are like that! it is probably something that your born with at least you know better. See I was always had that middle gear, otherwise I get bad hanovers.
