when dieting, what do your cheat meals look like?

just curious what you all eat for cheat meals. i've been having cravings for korean foods lately. they use healthy oils to cook but are high in the fats and carbs. was wondering if eating this three times a day, one day a week would be ok during my cheat day?

im at 15% trying to get down to 10%

I've heard a lot that fish is all good fat for you like fat that you r body needs so i would think you are okay but i wouldn't eat that once every week
 
When I have a cheat meal, I eat whatever the hell I want....McD, BK, Pizza.....I find that having a cheat meal actually helps me! I feel so full and bloated after a big cheat meal that I get determined and diet really hard for the next week or so, until my next cheat....

In the summer when doing low-carb 6 days a week, i can get away with BAD cheat meals on day 7. I will have to tone it down next time around. Now that I'm bulking, I give myself one cheat meal a week, but try to keep it within reason. This past summer though, forget it. I'd kill almost a whole half gallon of Breyer's Ice Cream without even blinking an eye. I'm assuming you're bulking now, so just go with onee meal every week, but not an entire pizza or container of ice cream (half gallon that is).
 
I crave starchy foods when dieting. My cheat meals are not that unhealthy, i get used to not having fat and sugar so i stop craving it, on cheat days i eat gold fish by the barrel.
 
IT all depends on your weight and amount of muscle you carrie. I know several body builders who while on there diet will eat things that we many consider cheating. On another note I find that when I am on a strict diet for severl weeks, when I eat a bad meal high in fat and carbs that I just have bad diareah sp and just shit it all out any how.
 
i'm finding that as long as i eat frequent, smaller meals, stay away from sugar and fried shit and get to the damn gym i can eat pretty normal stuff and continue to make steady progress. i mean i don't have to eat tuna, egg whites and oatmeal 5 times a day with nothing else in between. but, when i really cheat i usually throw down some serious Tex-Mex or a big, fat ass cheeseburger and fries.

I agree, similar to my approach. I eat pretty clean and eat smaller, frequent meals. Since I am bulking, Ill have a cheat meal (not a day, thats too much bloat and you get that "not so fresh feeling") once or twice a week and througout the week throw in some regular food here and there. I generally stay away from large amounts of sugary starchy foods, the only thing I take that has a quite an amount of sugar is Nlarge, but I take that pre and post workout only.

After my last cycle ... I ate 3 WHOLE 12" pizzas! 1 for breakfast, 1 for lunch, 1 for supper. Kinda just wanted to see if I could do it. No problem ... could have almost at another one at night. I felt really plugged up though, and felt like i gained 10lbs in the one day. My g-friend said that she felt like puking watching me eat them. ahahahaha. SHe says that a lot though ... I guess that I have terrible table manners ... I just wolf things down ... and eat a large quantity in a short amount of time.

i have elimanated my cheat meals all together in liu of drinking fri and sat nights (when i'm not on any AS). when i'm on (or at least the one time i have been) i did not cheat much at all, something about driving a metal spike into myself everyday that just made me not want to f it all up with a poor diet.
 
Since my diets are low-carb, I tend to use my cheat meal to carb-load. My training schedule sees me completing the last bodypart on Saturday in the early afternoon...biceps. After that, it's a whopping plate of coney fries usually, followed by some fruits and a pastry or two. By then, my muscles are all flat and in dire need of these carbs, so I don't really feel very guilty about the cheat.

summer time I love to get ice cream on my cheat days. soft serve is great. in the winter when bulking I really dont crave any sweets or unclean foods though bc I filling myself up with so much clean food I have no appetite left for junk
 
I honestly find that on my refeed/cheat day, that the more I eat, the faster I loose weight. If I take it like, I might only be 1 ibs ligther the next week, but if I follow the same diet, and routine troughout the week, but pig out, and slam down 8000 or 9000 calories of junk food, I might drop 3 ibs the next week. Then again, I'm in ketosis for 6 days before a cheat day, so the supercompensation effect tends to allow virtually all of those calories to replenish muscle glycogen. Most guys way undershoot the amount of carbs it takes to replenish muscle glycogen after a good depletion phase. Milos Sarcev points that out. Prior to a show or photo shoot, he depletes and then takes in as much as 1500 carbs grams a day, for several days in order to fill out, and he certainly doesn't seem to be spilling over at contest time. He is generally peeled. If anything, most guys find that they can't eat ENOUGH food for a proper refeed after depleting thier glycogen stores.

For me a serious cheat day might be like this:
1 ibs of steak
1 box of chocolate chip cookies
1 stuff crust pizza from pizza hut
a bag of corn chips.
and anything else I feel like knocking down, I just eat until I feel as though my muscles are full and I beging to feel at all bloated.
 
No cheat meals here! I'm gonna stick it out for the 20 weeks without cheating once. I'm already beginning my 3rd week of dieting so I think the worst is behind me. I took measurements yesterday and I dropped 4.3% BF in the first 2 weeks so far. I've been monitoring my muscle very very closely to make sure that I'm not losing significant lean muscle. So far so good.
