When bulking: Eat clean for quality but less calories Vs. Eat anything for quantity

Hay guys, from my experience I find it VERY HARD to consume SO MANY CALORIES, when eating clean to get big.....Like if your going to stick to your basics of oatmeal, brown rice, whole weat pasta, potatoes, and for protien, chicken, fish, turkey burgers and some red meat.....plus you cant have any weight gainer shakes because most contain sugars am i right??? how are you supposed to gain around 5000 calories..i find it impossible!!!!!

when eating regular of whatever you enjoy you could get like 1000 calories in 1 meal so easily as opposed to eating clean...

so my question to you is, when bulking up..... IS EATING CLEAN FOR QUALITY WITH LESS CALORIES MORE EFFICIENT OPPOSED TO EATING ANYTHING IN REASON GIVING YOU MORE CALORIES???

IMO you can wade a little bit into the deep end of the pool as long as you dont go too far. Feel free to eat a little bit of junk as long as it can fulfill some of your needs. Dont even bother with candy or soda.
 
so for example, EAT CLEAN but add in the N-large like 4 times a day to keep your calories up at top?? because I know i can make my calories eating clean with the help of a huge calorie protien supplement shake but the N-large2 has so much dam sugar...any other weight gainers out there with no sugar that someone can recommend? BUT WITH CARBS FOR BULKIN...and when i do bulk, i want to solidify also, not rip up, but be hard as hell!
 
bro, i think theres a huge difference. eat as much clean food as you can, then if you still need extra cals, add some protein shakes/bars, nlarge, ect. i am eating a bag of peanuts everyday to increase my cals by around 800. so IMO there is no need to eat crap, even when bulking... your just gonna have to cut more fat off when your done, right?
 
I gotta tell ya, I could eat a farm. 5000kcal is nothing. It depends on how big you are and your metabolism. Maybe you don't need 5000kcal. What's maintenance calories for you?
 
well to be honest, i think i will just throw away the deca and replace EQ to help the hunger!!!, hehe, can someone reccommend a diet to obtain 5000 calories at ease and clean as possible for a 5"11 215lbs Bodyfat% around 18% or 16% at lowest (estimation)..thanks!
 
Eat tons of protein. IMO, it's better to have a surplus of protein than of carbs and fat since it is more difficult for your body to convert protein to be stored as fat and you can be sure to get enough protein that way. So, lots of tuna, skinles chicken breasts, lean sirloin steak, egg whites, whole eggs, I like unsalted peanuts for calories with some protein, beans are good, brown rice, rolled oats, veggies, etc.
 
and if i cant get enough of the regular food, is it ok to drink those EASY CALORIE shakes such as N-large2? if not, is there any form of protien powder /carbs i can take? thanks
 
I'd stick mainly to protein powders that are primarily protein. For example, Optimum Nutrition is good stuff with very few carbs. There are lots of options though.
 
Calories are calories.. It doesn't matter if your calories come from a snickers bar or oatmeal. Eating "clean" doesn't mean anything.

I recomed a low fat diet while bulking.
