Whats Wrong With Me?help!

Hey guys,about a month ago I had what I thought was the absolute best workout of my life.3 days later I got a sore throat,no biggie right,little congestion,lethargy.Well it continued and didnt seem too serious.I didnt take it off for the gym.Well 4 weeks later (today) I actually hit the gym again.Im down 16 lbs.I did my back today....rows down 40 lbs,pulldowns down 60 lbs,deads down 70 lbs,and finally shurgs down a whopping 90 lbs.Oh yea I tried going last week for the hell of it......I did my triceps and they were sore for about 5 days.Whats is wrong with me?Is it normal for that tremendous decrease in strength for only being a month out of the gym,how about the 16 lbs I lost?
 
Did you go to a doctor? We are not doctors, well, actually some of us are but that is besides the point. Go to the doctor!
 
I agree. If I even taken one week off, I start losing my gains. I can't imagine what taking 4 weeks off would do to my strength.
 
I guess I can never be right then huh.If I didnt take it off while being sick i obviously would have gotten flamed for working out while sick.I tried to take the smart approach and rest.That didnt work,but still wouldnt you have done it too?So you guys are telling me I lost those gains cuz of not working out or actually cuz of the flu I had or something?
 
It will come back pretty quick. Just pace yourself and dont over do it since such a long break. I had a dental abscess that wouldnt go so I took a month to get it cleared. Took me a good 2 weeks before started to feel myself again. Patience.
 
I'm one of those guys who loses weight and strength if I don't get to the gym regulary. A few years ago I had tendinitous (can't spell correctly) in my shoulder. I had to take a 4-5 weeks off lifting my upper body. I lost around 8 pounds and about 20 % off my strength but within time I got it all back.
 
i got that way too after week 2 of my cycle

sust 250 i just wrote it off as a sustflu, sucked it up, worked out, it passed after a few days
 
Suck it up BRO, and just concentrate on getting your ASS back into the gym. Your gains will come back quickly, and you did the right thing on taking some time off. It probably would have lingered around forever if you hadn't taken the break. Don't know if antibiotics would have helped in speeding up the healing process.

Keep a good diet with an ample amount of quality protein, vitamins, water, sleep and rest, and you will be back on track within a week or two. You are probably severly dehydrated so get in a lot of fluids.

Thanks guys,wow little chris you took more time off then me yet i lost alot more then you.I feel really shitty now and I guess Im in a state of dehyrdation.Worse part is now I dont know how to eat because I did swolecats diet for a while.....this aint a traditional diet.But he told me to do my own thing till I get back up there again,I dont really remember my own thing,but I know it worked.I was at my peak about 5 or 6 months ago at 5'10 225 lbs and about 13% bf.I was on test/deca though.
