not to nitpick but elbow wraps are not allowed in raw competition. maybe you mean the pull-up neoprene sleeves? but they probably wouldnt pass inspection either

elbow wraps arent allowed for benching period. neoprene sleeves are worn in training to counteract elbow pain, but they really dont help the lift at all.
