( I am probably going to get flamed for this ) well that really depends on how far along you are IMO. I am 18 as well, about to turn 19. I am going to start a var only cycle in a few weeks. I think I have trained and eaten well for plenty of time to start jucing (before you all say anything let it be known i am 6' 206 @ 8-9%, deadlifted 455 when i was 16, and I am up over 500 now, I can bench 385 and do the incline dumbells 130's for 6 reps. my best squat was also 385 4 times.). I feel I am ready to juice, but I will only do var until I am 20-21 as to not effect my growth plates. but thats just me, If you really feel like you are ready for AS, and dont have much more growth to do, id say go for some var...
