Whats the best supplement you've ever taken?

I've tried a shitload of different supps, but today i stick with bulk creatine (preferably by a known brand, and preferably as cheap as possible), proteine, and some glutamine.

I just mix up 7grams of creatine with 60 grams of dextrose and drink it up. Read the label on Cell-Tech and figure out what you get for your money, creatine, dextrose and ALA and some multivitamines.

My list goes like this:
1. Creatine + dextrose
2. Proteine (and loads of it...)
3. Glutamine (but i'm thinking of quitting this one...)
 
AST's Dymetadrine Xtreme 45mins before I work out. It gives me wings!

I think most supplements except regular Creatine, Glutamine and Protein powders/MRP's are crap!

i go wit glutamine, creatine, protein, weight gainer, amino acids, roids. Those are the only ones ill take though :)

I'll add up 100mg caffeine poppers, i take one just before my workout, and then one more if i start feeling sleepy.

I never pass 200mg's of caffeine during one workout though, i believe too much of this adrenaline like amphetamine surrogate can inhibit muscle growth.

The theory is that muscle growth requires relaxed muscles, and caffeine makes your muscle cells work more even when relaxing.

Everything is better than a sleepy workout though, anyone use ephedrine as a pre workout supp?

Protein powder IS a supplement. Why? Because you're supplementing your normal food intake with it.

Food, however, is not a supplement...rather a necessity, is it not? :) Ya need LOTS!

So:

1) protein powder
2) creatine
3) multivitamin
4) flax seed oil/mix (Udo's Choice)
5) maybe some glutamine & ECA/ECY stack when cutting
 
Because i'm an easygainer when it comes to fat (my parents are both fatso's), i just started an ECA stack cycle. I wonder what my abs look like, and i hope this wil help me.

Cant be worse than that CLA shit anyway, have you got CLA in the US anyway?
 
20 hydroxyecdysterone does not do anything in the human body. There has been at least one scientific experiment showing this to be true. It's excreted within a matter of a few minutes. Totally worthless for people.

Just eat some spinach...you'll get at least a little bit of 20-hydroxyecdysterone in that if that's what you want.
 
Vita de Gloria maybe you like them but they've both been proven to not work unless you have 10 times the doseage recommended. I've tried massive amounts of methoxy and ribose, and it still sucked in my opinion.
 
I am using 60 grams daily of methoxy-pro.
The ribosio I use in concomitance to a cycle of load of micronaized creatine, on me they work, I speak of 3-4 kg in 6-7 weeks.
 
Water, H20, You know that liquid clear stuff. Nothing comes close or works without it. 3 gallons of H20 a day makes the porcelain God say "Hey! stop whizzing on me MF":spit: Hell, H20 is so good I started taking it the day I was born and I will take it till I'm 6 feet under! I'm surprised the Supp Company's haven't gotten on the Bandwagon. We could have Weider piss you up juice, or better yet EAS bladder expander shakes in pre shaken cartons. And we all know what will happen when H20 gets on the Supp market. It will work so good the FDA will try to ban it after all the news stories of young athletes over dosing on this new dangerous sports supplement "H20 booster" Guaranteed to make you piss like a race horse or your money back. Then all of these emails will be sent to you saying, "Hurry FDA to Ban H20. You better stock up now while supplies Last". You may think this is a joke but just you watch it's gonna happen. Well, I'm off I'd better go get a 10,000 gallon water tank and stock up. I suggest you do the same. We all know what happened on Y2k.:eek2:
 
Hands down it's gotta be E/C/A/Y stack. That stack works better then clenbuterol for me. The only problem is the ephedrine gives me limp dick:(
 
bro i think VPX sports are the biggest scam artists when it comes to supplements. None of their prohormones work! and methoxy products have been proven to do jack shit to just about everyone!
 
Strength wise I would say Zebutol tablets and Tribestan (12 a day) . For weight gain its obvious, creatine.
 
Speaking from a guy who used to take alot of D-BOL, Prohormones DO work. But the best one on the market that I've tried is the 1-AD. Only bad thing is that I have to discontinue it because it gave me oily skin and mild acne.
 
1. 4-AD at least 1000 mg/day
2. Creatine
3. Glutamine
4. Protein: whey/caseinate/egg albumen mix

ECA is crap. Spikes the nervous system too much and hinders recovery.

I know a lot of good bros use glutamine, however, this is the one supp I aint 100% sure is worth the money.

It's expensive, and, frankly, all proteine powders have got it in them.

Is this just a hype to screw the lunch money outta us weightlifting fellas, or is it for real?

I'm currently taking creatine+dextrose and two proteines wich I know work. Now i'm thinking of getting some glutamine.

What do you think?

Just started using these supplements in addition to: norabol, ginger roots, ALA, and flax oil...hopefully i'll get HUGE
 
ginger root is used to expand the intestines alowing more and better absorption of nutrients
ie. can have 70 grams rather than 50 grams of protein during a serving.
I also believe that ginger root ades in digestion.
 
For lean mass increase: 1-AD, by far.

I can't seem to tell a difference in my physique when I vary my protein intake, or take glutamine or use any pro-hormone....except 1-AD. Up 25 lbs in 1.5 cycles. And I've added strength I didn't think I'd ever have. Amazing.


For fat loss: Adipokinetix seems to do it for me.

Triatricol is the winner hands down with usnic acid pulling a close second. Basically Syntrax was kicking ass for while.

I get great pumps & strength increases when I combine all 3.
However...........the Cytodyne caps, for some reason, give me bad breath & a funky body odor. They work just great BUT it always smells like I've just eaten a shit sandwich when I take them. When I stop it goes away. That's the only supplement that I've ever taken that does that.

daveyboy ... Does that Cytodyne product you take contaimn tribulous? If it does that that is whats causing the body oder. I lot of people are getting that from Fuzu™, which also contains tribulous.
 
Some of the ingredients Cytodyne contains are : acetyl l carnitine, l-alanine, l-glutamine, taurine, inositol, calcium phosphate & magnesium sterate. I don't think there's any tribulus in it. Hey Buld0g, thanks for the scoop on Fuzu. I was really thinking about giving that stuff a try. You just changed my mind & saved me some money. Thanks bud.

Vitamin Worlds X-treme trim diet pills are my favourite supplement of all time. They are almost always on sale, (156 pills for 20 bucks usually), and work really well. I go ballistic after taking these things. They make me lift heavier, harder and longer then I could ever do normally.
 
I have very sensitive gums and have found Co Enzyme Q10 to really help! I used to bleed when brushing, and light flossing, but now can go over 2 minutes with no problem. (I take one pill with a tablespoon of flax oil.) I've also read CoQ protects the heart against heart disease. Kind of expen$ive, but well worth it imo.

Creatine is no doubt the best i've used. Speed, size, strength, endurance and recovery all in one!!!!!

The second best i have used is High Five's 'energy burst' amazing to mix creatine with, awesome pre/post workout or game drink.
Amazing first thing in morning, instant energy.

Protein pwders areok, but dont need them really, just eat meats, milk ect....

Vitamins and minerals are class also.

Excellent post! CoQ10 may also play a very therapeutic role in preventing some forms of cancer. Anyone who dips, chews or smokes should consider chewable CoQ10 daily. Besides that, anyone with any sort of periodontal condition could likely benefit from chewing CoQ10. I would bet the farm that it can be a lifesaver in some cases.

but how about further discussion on more detailed decisions:
- liquid
- evervesent
- Monohydrate powder
- capsule
- spray
- how many grams?

also, heard in a recent training seminar that it is best taken with warm (or room tempature) water ... not with fruit juice due to glucose spike.

For example: Some powdered creatine products on the market may contain hazardous impurities like dihydrotriazine, a toxic and harmful by-product that occurs during the manufacturing process. And not only are these by-products toxic to you... they're also toxic to the creatine and immediately, although slowly, start to degrade it. And by the time creatine from China actually winds up in your paws... it could be 5 - 6 months... and massive degradation will have already set in.

heard that Germany makes a "purer" creatine ... any clues?

as far as how i like my creatine... definately not liquid, and never tried, or heard of for that matter of it being used transdermaly, ive tried Twin Lab's Mega Creatine Fuel and it was ok, but all those pills are a killer, i just take straight Creatine Monohydrate, 5 grams pre-workout and 10 grams post-workout

Ergopharm 1-ad at 800mg/day rocks also

Glutamine is a must for growth/recovery

otherwise, it's all about the N-Large

The best I've taken is Titan Stack from Genapharm. Not sure if it was a placebo effect or not, but I gained fifteen pounds in four weeks, and lost BF. I went down two pounds when I went off it, must have been water weight because I lost no strength. This stuff makes you very hungry, if you don't eat with this I imagine you would gain nothing. This isn't a stack to use if you are cutting carbs either. Just make sure they are the right ones.
