whats a "good" poundage DB to do seated shoulder press with?

cool. at least i know im not a total pussy lol

id really like to do 100s but i dont know if my shoulder joints could take it

Yeah keeping your arms attached would be a good idea. :)
 
well i just started lifting again the highest i have gone is 60s for 6-8
the shoulders can take more but getting those DBs up to the shoulders is the problem:)

I am 28 and have been lifting for about a year.

I typically do shoulder press in the following set/reps: 65/8, 70/6, 75/4, in that order.

I haven't seen anyone using more weight at my gym..

I'm not worried about 'dropping weight on my head' as someone said b/c when I fail it is usually at the very bottom of the rep, and 75 pounds isn't that much anyway.
