What would you like to talk about today?

I never really understood why one religion beleives that their god is omniyaddayaddayadda, when there are, like, dozens of other religions around the globe who think the same thing: that their god is omnipotentscientpresentetcetera. For clarification, I'm referring to the modern world here.

Do do christians believe that a Muslim will burn in their christian hell for not believing their christian god, while the Muslims will believe that christians will burn in Muslim hell for not believing their Muslim god? (whatever the primary religion is over in the middle east; I'm not even sure the notation they assign it)

Or are all monotheistic religions sympathetic towards other monotheistic religions, wherein their respective gods would give the benefit of the doubt to the other non-believer-yet-close-enough monotheists, damning all nonmonotheistic religions and followers? And what about all that jesus as the son of god versus non-son of god thing (Jahova's whitnesses, correct?)? Does the god of catholic christians damn them for their partial belief in their god and religious principals set by their god, or will their god let the whole jesus thing kinda slide?

Note that I'm not trying to express any opinions here. Just questions regarding interrelationships between the dominant modern-day religions and their respective gods.

Time for a hijacking. I want to talk about BEER! Specifically KEGS ... multiple, cold and imported. I'm having a party tomorrow evening, and the kegs just arrived about an hour ago! I won't be drinking much at all, but the 150 or so people who RSVP'd are some hardened alcoholics, having been conditioned on some of the harshest swill known to mankind. Pictures of the aftermath will be forthcoming......

Zig :chomp:
looking forward to the pics

So what about the middle eastern child born and rasied in the Muslim tradition, completely unaware of the western beliefs in christianity and their god? Is he damned by the christian god for ignorance, or is he claimed as innocent, and allowed into the christian heaven?

Or, similarly, the ooga-booga tribal africans (of the few that remain) that are completely and utterly isolated from the modern world whatsoever? They don't even have plumbing, let alone even the resources to seek out information about what the correct god (or what they think the correct god) should be? So are only those born into certain cultures granted the (no pun intended) god-given right, or even ability, to seek out what the 'correct' religion and god are, whatever that might be?

Unfortunately, they all burn forever. Part of the price we pay for Sin. The only ones who are saved are those that God calls to him.

Those tribes and baby muslims are all fucked. Don't forget those with retarded mental facualties, they are gonna burn too.

I thought the christian god was a loving god and stuff, though. Or is it a conditional love?
