Liftbig said:i hate to think what might have happened if i never started training. i started lifting at 12, and at that time i was very depressed, i was hanging out with the wrong types of people for the attention and becuase they would me hang out with them. this was the time in my life where if i hadnt started lifting i probably would have started doing drugs, and drinking alot. today i would probably not be in college, i would have very very low self esteem, and probably just be in bad situations all the time.
had i not started lifting when i did, i would have missed out on alot of things im glad i did. i loved playing sports in high school, it gave me something to shoot for, something i could be good at, and feel good about. i love powerlifting, i cant picture my self doing anything else right now. i wouldnt have met alot of the people i have through powerlifting, and i certainly wouldnt have the freinds ive made through elitefitness.
weightlifting has had a HUGE positive impact on my life
