They ran on forever. We lived in Arizona and the skies always had little fluffy clouds and ah, they were long and clear, and there were lots of stars at night, when it would rain it would all turn - they were beautiful, the most beautiful skies as a matter of fact and uh, the sunsets were purple, and red, and yellow, and on fire and the clouds would catch the colors and that was neat becuase I used to look at them when I was little... you don't see that...

Sounds nice Happy!

When I was little here in N. Texas the skies got red but many times it was a dust storm coming from W. Texas. That has not happened in years not sure why.

everything seemd much grander when I was young. I think we dont notice things anymore because we're to busy with our "responsibilities" or being "adults".

Like fire flies... where have all the fire flies gone :( :(

it's called the rat race. We are too busy making a living at our jobs or trying to get laid to enjoy the scenery.

funny thing about the rat race, if you win your still just a rat!

Hey Gilli, we got all the fire flies you can handle here in Alabama, in fact last night it was quite a show as they spattered on my windshield doing 70.

I miss roasting marshmellows over a bon fire while telling the most outragest stories, I don't remember it always this HOT when I was little. :(

Funny you should mention this....

I blew off work today to spend it with my 'lil girl at the pool. She looked up as we laid in the grass and said to me."Mommy, look at the clouds up in the sky they look like cotton candy".

Ahhhh, to see the world again thru the eyes of a child!

never heard of that before - esp not for that use.
if anything I would believe maybe to seed the clouds for rain - but never heard of the other one

I used to love that song, so cool! :D

Well my skies are just as big as ever, but now the peaches have no flavor.
I remember farm fresh small peaches with amazing flavor.
Now all the growers have fruit that's big and juicy, but no taste.
