what was/is your fastest mile time?

5:49 was mine - I ran that shit freshman year in HIGH SCHOOL - haven't come close in many many years.

My fastest two mile was 10:37, Army PT test. We had one guy that would always manage a time in the mid 9:00's he ran a lot of marathon's.

yeah my time was around then as well.
about 7 minutes now

I once did a 5K marathon. My goal was to finish in the top 10 (I was 9th). My time was just under 20 minutes. For someone who never ran before, nor had any desire to run since, I am thinkin that was pretty good.

No more running for this old girl. Way too hard on m'joints. I kinda wanna keep 'em workin for as long as I can.

Mine were in the mid 11's

I knew a kid a long time ago who could do sub 9's and it was amazing. We'd all be out there for the PT test and he would have his Trax sneakers from K-Mart (remember those! Cost like $9) all beat to hell and he would make fun of all of us with expensive Nikes and tell us he would smoke the shit out of us with his dams Trax sneakers...and he would lol

good time
what's in a pt test besides the run?
is everything done consecutively?

5.15 but that was 25 lbs ago. I would be lucky to break 6 minutes now.

Of course, I am almost 45 so it could be worse.

I would like to be able to run a below 6 minute mile while at 220lbs
stud marathoners are averaging less than 6 minute miles for the entire 26 mile race.
fuggin impressive

Push ups(2 min), sit ups(2 min) and 2 mile run...consecutively. Maximum score in each event of 100.

I've never been timed for a mile that I can remember, but I ran the two-mile in around 12:30 when I was in my early twenties.

that is badass. just more wieght to lug around makes it tough.

I am a big sized dude while on gear so it will be tough for me to get sub 6 minutes.

I wonder if 2 hours will ever be broke on the a regular marathon? some day....

i went out one night and stayed out all night and was drunk as fuck and had army drill at 6am and had a pt tes ant ran a 11:40 2 mile hung over that was pretty good

I was around the 5:40-5:50 mark throughout H.S. Give me a month and I could probably get it down there again. I always sprinted well and could run reasonably fast over shorter long distances. The farthest I ever ran was 5 miles and I felt sick after I was done.

I guess it is, but I'd rather be a mediocre bodybuilder than a champion marathoner. They look like sticks.
