I've found sprints to be very effective. I've been run/walk cardio this last week, and dropped about 1% bodyfat -- and thats without cutting calories, or even dieting (i had a big mac for supper yesterday).
 
low-medium intensity has always been what i prefer.
either on an empty stomach in the morning, or after weight training session.
 
How many times a week should I be doin hiit If I still wan't to get slightly bigger? Also is it a balls out 30 seconds of sprint? Id think that would be fuckin hard. I'll try it though.
 
I usually go 5 times a week,maybe more if I cheat at all,and its low-med intensity for 25-35mins,depending on how I feel that day
 
I should have also stated on a 15 incline,and low intensity is about 3mph,med I step it up to 4 mph,In 25mins I burn 400cals
