What type of barbell do you use?

hey, I was just wondering, what is the correct type of barbell to use for good mornings and bent over rows, are you suppose to use the larger ones that used for benching, or one of the smaller ones?

doesnt really matter, only difference is if u want a thicker or thinner bar. and a standard olympic 7' bar weighs 45 pounds.

I find it easier using the larger ones, though i think its all a matter of preference. People who don't use straps tend to use the smaller ones more.

olympic. . . most of the standard bars are unsuited for holding 300lbs.

:D Mine is a custom made 1.5" diameter bar that accepts standard plates. Won't bend with 505lbs on it. (Most I've had on it so far.)

But, the ones you buy in the stores will bend badly right around 300lbs like you said. Pieces of shit.

I was going to order an 2" Apollon's Axle from Ironmind, but I think I'm going to save some money and make my own thick bar instead.
