One of my best friends growing up is getting married tommorrow. He is 23 and she is 21.

Found an awesome gift and card but I feel I need to write a little something extra to them. Im not the best at coming up with that sentimental stuff.

Serious Suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

I wish you a lifetime of happiness together.

Dude, I hate to tell you it this way but I fucked "her name here" back in high school and she gave me the clap!

LOLOLOL

if that were true and she actually cheated on her bf with you back in the day - you woulda been hunted down

just say whatever...as long as you don't bring attention to the fact that they'll be divorced in 5 years(at the latest) for marrying so young.

that's even worse. he was 18 and she was 16?

not being cynical, but divorce statistics prove at that age no one knows what life has to offer. getting sucked in that early always leads to curiosity (cheating) or disatisfaction in general.
All my friends or acquitances that got married that young in life i can already picture their divorce, it's just waiting to happen.

anyways, write whatever comes to your mind. nothing worse than a card with a cheesy canned statement.
maybe something personally related to them that they both "get"

You had me going on the first part, I believed it, but after reading the second it was clear this post was a joke.

"<dudes name>, youv always been like a brother to me, so i guess that makes you my sister, <girls name>. Welcome to the family!"

suck to be you, i can't believe you are getting married, you can't be that stupid. don't crying to me when she gets fat and ugly. don't crying to me when you catch her banging some other dude too. don't even bother telling me she won't have sex with you anymore either. but all in all, please give me the gift back when you two divorce in less than a year.

best wishes

I almost always go with humor. The last card I sent (to my good friend and his wife who I am also somewhat friendly with) was actually a "congratulations on the baby" card. It also hinted at the apparent miracle that the groom was able to produce babies. They loved it and told me how the whole family got a huge kick out of it.

Totally depends on your relationship, obviously. But don't dismiss the humor angle - it will be much appreciated and will stand out (if you're an attention whore like myself)
