Why do people pyramid up on letro?

Logic dictates that I smash estrogen immediately. Start at 2.5mg/day and run it for a while.

I'm not sure if this is 100% correct, but I've read from others who have pyramided letro that it's needed to prevent the estrogen(gyno) rebound effect and to further decrease estrogen activity even when they aren't physically present through gyno.
