I typically workout from 7:30P - 9:00P. The only downside to this for me is that it pumps me up and then I have a hard time falling asleep before midnight.

If I didn't have to work or do any of that responsibility crap or want to make alot of money so I don't have to work eventually... I'd love to workout in the afternoon.

Love afternoon lifting... plenty of energy after a few meals in me.
 
Shortly after waking, which for me is usually after 3pm on most days early on others since I work at night.

I used to lift starting around 7:30 am - 8:30 am (I get into work at 10:30 am) until my squat got relatively huge. The gym near my house does not have a power rack, so I don't like squatting there anymore. As such, I've changed my workout time (at least on squat days) to 8pm and I just hit the branch on the way home from work which does have a power rack.

I would much rather lift in the mornings, though.

I can do cardio ANYTIME, real running at dawn or dusk

but lifting is not worth a damn unless its after 2 pm :(
 
Kinda depends on the work schedule.. but generally in the morning around 9am... if it's not then, it's usually 6pm or 7pm.
 
Usually anywhere between 11:30 and 2:30. I love it. The gym has people in it, but It's nothing like being there later at night. Good luck gettin a treadmill between 5 and 8. The gym is almost seems empty during the day. Which some days it is. :) :rasta:

I ususally workout about 1 to 1&1/2 hours after I eat breakfast. Perfect time. Lots of energy. But the first 10 min after waking, forget it. The energy finally kicks in right after that. :)
 
I used to workout first thing in the morning.. Now, I workout between 3 pm-6:00 pm
I need to get my butt of the bed and be at the gym early morning

Same time, same problem. I've also found that if I wait more than an hour after I get home to take a shower, its even harder to get to sleep.
 
I usually don't get off work until around 230am so I lift about an hour after I wake up (1230-1pm) and do my cardio a couple of hours before work. I am going to start doing double shifts next week so my times are going to get pushed back even later. I absolutely hate going in at 5-7pm and will avoid it at all costs.
