I think 1 of the most important supplements are the fatty acids (Omega3-6-9,CLA).People tend to shy away from fats in their diet, classing all fats as unhealthy due to lack of education.Fatty acids play many vital roles in the body,I use them year round. I also find glutamine is very good at keeping the body from entering a catabolic state,we use up most of natural glutamine during excercise and it needs to be replenished after each workout for optimal results.
Animal pack

UP your vitaminD, studies show that 4000 is what is usually needed when you are leaving in area with low sunlight. Not much:
Protein powder
Vitamin D 1200 IU- I live in Canada and it's winter
Calcium 650- for bone density
Betaine HCL 650 with pepsin- to aid digestion
