600 pound jerk, check.... 640 squat, check..... 840 DL for a triple, check, 420 pound snatch, where he casually scratches his left leg with his right leg while hold the weight overhead, check.

His bicep is all better. The 640 no hand squat is just to show his total control over the weight.
He is an 800 lb squatter when working out.

I missed the no handed squat. The way he blew up 640 there's no doubt he's and 800+ pound squatter. Unreal.

Roughly 6' 3" and about 320 give or take 20 lbs depending on training.
I think he got his pro strongman card in about 2002, is about 32, from Russia and has competed in the Olympics as a HW lifter.
He also ranks right up there with Shaw, Bergmann, Ostland, Gillingham and Ortmayer as one of the best, most honerable men in the sport. He always has time for a fan - especially the kids, and those new to the sport. He is a real class act.

He is also one of the few powerlifters that has been successful at strongman.

His great great grandfather was probably a descendant of Superman.
I havnt watched strongman in years. But I always loved it. Some of those guys are almost superhuman. Some of them are really big but some of them are scary big. I forget exactly who but there was one or two that looked like off season body builders(but they werent) But they were soooo large and soooo thick. The joint and bone structure on these guys is sick.
I'm not in the know about strongman but is it drug tested? I would be curious to see what tyes of cycles, doses, combinations ect that these guys use.

Some events are tested, some are not. There is much less gear than you may think. From those that do use, the vast majority stay with simple test cycles and GH. The goals are not at all for aesthetics, but for strength and mass. Eating, and VERY intense workouts are the the real cornerstone to their performance.
You will also see that many of them come from highly athletic backgrounds. Brian Shaw - who is arguably the best American - paid for college with a NCAA Div 1 full ride for basketball. Others like Bergmann, found the iron early. In his case he powerlifted in high school, was a national PL champion and set the record deadlift of 620 lbs as a 198 lb'er his senior year.
If you look up Bergmann's channel on YouTube, you can see video I shot while training with him, Shaw and Ostland where they were pulling 820 with another 120 in chains on the bar. You will also see Bergmann load a 520 lb stone to 54" and me in the background getting a little "excited" over the feat

Yeah I was thinking there wasnt alot of elaborate cycling going on. Obviously alot of these massive guys are seriously predisposed to getting huge genetically anyways. Then ofcourse add 500-1000mg of test to that and you have a real monster on your hands.
