I cannot get shredded. I am lean but not as shredded as I want. I swear I have the worst genetics. I have an ectomesomorphic body type, I have a hell of a had time making big gains muscle wise and also a hard time getting really rippped, yet I have a good foundation. I've been lifting hard consistantly for 2 years. It seems not matter what I do I stay lean and somewhat muscular. I have accepted the fact that I will not be able to build this MASSIVE physique, i don't ever plan on competing, I just want to look and feel good...and be RIPPED for once in my life.
I am 21, 6ft 187
What I want is more vascularity, and to loose the thin (1 inch) layer of fat around my abs, they are visible but not as much as I would like them to be. My current diet is High protien, moderate carb-----clean diet)
I'm curious about trying a no carb diet but am skeptical because I think that fat would come back as fast as I loose it after I stopped the diet.
I guess i would just like some others advice on what they would do if they were me. I'm taking creatine (just started again after being off all summer, eca (somewhat new to), glutamine, my efas, cla, multi ...all that good stuff.
I'm planning on sticking with the eca and morning cardio, which is somewhat new to me and this diet and MAYBE just MAYBE see some change. I swear i could sit around and eat shit all day, or try hard and look the same..heh go figure.
