What steps do i have to take to get ripped already?

I cannot get shredded. I am lean but not as shredded as I want. I swear I have the worst genetics. I have an ectomesomorphic body type, I have a hell of a had time making big gains muscle wise and also a hard time getting really rippped, yet I have a good foundation. I've been lifting hard consistantly for 2 years. It seems not matter what I do I stay lean and somewhat muscular. I have accepted the fact that I will not be able to build this MASSIVE physique, i don't ever plan on competing, I just want to look and feel good...and be RIPPED for once in my life.

I am 21, 6ft 187

What I want is more vascularity, and to loose the thin (1 inch) layer of fat around my abs, they are visible but not as much as I would like them to be. My current diet is High protien, moderate carb-----clean diet)

I'm curious about trying a no carb diet but am skeptical because I think that fat would come back as fast as I loose it after I stopped the diet.

I guess i would just like some others advice on what they would do if they were me. I'm taking creatine (just started again after being off all summer, eca (somewhat new to), glutamine, my efas, cla, multi ...all that good stuff.

I'm planning on sticking with the eca and morning cardio, which is somewhat new to me and this diet and MAYBE just MAYBE see some change. I swear i could sit around and eat shit all day, or try hard and look the same..heh go figure.

sorry if it sounds like a rant, it kind of is i guess.
 
you might wanna try to cut your carbs down to about 90g per day. Unless you're already there then drop them down a little more. Make sure you're sticking to your cardio and diet and eating clean carbs. You might wanna train your abs with weights......I know you don't want your stomach to get bigger but you have to have good size abs before they will show. I told a guy earlier the easiest way to get completely shredded is to spread mass amounts of mayonnaise all over your body two to three times daily. No showering either for max absorbtion.:D
 
post your diet,it sounds like it could be your diet.when you rip down you need to keep the cardio to a minum at first and focus on the diet.it has to be right ,what exactly are you eating.how many meals,and i agree with developing your abs .when i upped my ab work to 4 times a week 2 with weights and 2 without,then my abs came through nice........just my opinion
 
getting ripped is just all abbout diet, you bodyfat% just has to be extreemly low. This is attainable to all kinds of different but strict diets.

What you said is true once you get there and start eating normally again the weigth (fat) will come back. The human body just isnt made to stay at that low percantage for a long time. That just isnt healthy, and ours body strive to be healthy.

So just watch your diet. Watch the cardio at first, and only introduce EC when you really start to need it. In short i agree with the mann
