What sitcoms are still on...

I like "Everybody loves Raymond", Simpsons", "Seinfeld", "Family Guy", and "Southpark." I didn't even watch t.v. until I got married.

Raymond and Reba both appear to have canned laughter. There're, like, five times as many various reality shows on now as sitcoms. Maybe 'cause it's Friday or something.

Do they still make any of those shows?
(except for "family guy" and "south park" I guess, but cartoons don't count)

I usually never even watch a show until it has gone to reruns... The Simpsons is the longest running sitcom show ever.. still making new episodes.

I honestly don't know. The latter I haven't heard of (Lifetime channel), and the former was mentioned by Bitme... maybe he knows?

Lemme see if I can find a TV guide channel site that lists dates.

Ha Ha Ha
Samoth was watching Lifetime.

There all reruns except for the Simpsons and I'm not sure about Family Guy... God, the horror of it. I can't believe I know this much about t.v.... My life has gone to shit.

What the... god dammit! I was only doing it for you!

May I ask why you are inquiring such a topic?

Thank you baby.
I was just curious.
I was talking with a friend about the evils of laugh tracks and it made me wonder if sitcom makers still used them.

I remember some old sitcoms always saying "recorded live in front of a studio audience" or something to that effect. It would probably be hard for the layperson to differentiate recorded audio tracks used in boxed laughter compared to something "live", however they might define that term...

As if the audiance would still be laughing after the 6th take.

since being home from work, I've been getting into All in the Family. I never watched it when it was originally on (yes I am that old), but HELL is that show funny. Not sure if they had laugh tracks though.

I love the dialogue between Archie and Meathead. One of my all time favorite shows. Nick at Nite?
