what should I do?

should I fix it up (put farings on it and lower it) or buy a new one? Any thoughts?

of course ive only ridden 2 motorcycles in my whole life and never found where the damn brake was

I like it yellow. My hubby thought of re-painting it pink. I was HELL NO!!!

the bike is almost all chromed out. But I do like black
 
might as well throw on some frame sliders as well if u add fairings. remember the votrex sliders prolly wont fit well tight...get some silverstones xexons as well
 
whats the mileage on that bike....looks like an older one...new plastics are gonna run into allot of cash....id say if its over 7500 miles sell it off for parts you ll walk away making money...buy the bike you want...

it is older. Mu husband was thinking the same thing, cause all those chromed parts are worth more selling them separate than as a whole bike. But, I like the bike, it would be good enough for me just with new fairing and a little cosmetic, nothing too major

yeah baby....im going for new paint on mine i think....FG...get a front fairing ...stay with yellow and call it good....dont spend any more $$$$$....just ride.

thats what I'm talking about. Not spending the $$$$$$, just get fairing
 
a front ferring could run you close to 2 grand depending if its once peice of 3 peices....plus paint...if your lucky and i mean real lucky check ebay and somone will be selling one cheap...doesnt matter what color..have it repainted and your good to go...but keep in mind..if you have teh credit and a few grand laying around..you can finance the bike of your dreams for like 140$ a month...maybe even less....

thats why we were thinking of selling it, so we can put a nice downpayment. But I am alraedy financing the 05 R1, so I really dont want any other payments. You say fairings are THAT expensive, yeah, I need 3 of them!!!

as whole they can cost you that much....and if your buying them new..they come unpainted and un prepped....so more cost to incrue....you can also finance used bikes also...banks are now lenging money allot more for luxury items and rates are at an all time low...so you can get a decent bike...like a used R1 for like $6500 and if you have like 2500 to put down...you only have to borrow $4000....depending on the length of the loan..your payments will be well under $100 a month
 
Like I said, if you're gonna stick w/ that bike, I'd get some detailing or have it repainted another colour...
AND JUST RIDE!!!!!!!!!!

So in all honesty, you comfortable w/ the bike now or feel it just has to have something done...?
'Cause 90% of the time this leads to wanting to get a new ride...

a little bit. I had a hard time holding it so it wont fall cause its 300lbs or close to it. Its scary

yeah but you have to click the thumbnail to get the full size...trying to learn how to make it full size so everyone can view it, without being Plat or clicking on it...a10j10 gave me instructions, im just missing something here...shit

You can go to shark skinz and get all the race fairings for $600 dollers front and sides. those can be black that way it will be yellow and black LOL.

This bike is all the way tricked out forks and all this bike will be perfect for Fgirl to ride, and slidders is a good idea.

just wait till its dun Im about to slam this baby to the ground about 3 to 4 inches...

I bet Fgirl cant wait.............
