no, i dont think the beatles sell as much merchandise. when was the last time you saw a beatles shirt? ; however, any college kid from Colorado westward owns at least one grateful dead shirt. shit, i've been out of college for 5 years, and i know i own a grateful dead shirt.

know more than 1 friend as a kid who had a Dead poster....saw a beatles poster maybe in one female friend's room.
