What kinda music do yall listen to when working out?

Mudvayne

New member
What do yall listen to when working out? I listen to Pantera, Slipknot, Mudvayne...all that heavy shit cause it gets me pumped up!

I listen to the pussy ass shit they play on the radio at the fat bitch gym I go to. I hate wearing headphones, because I like to talk to my girl who I work out with regularly. If they had a jukebox, I would play some godsmack, or something along those lines, aint nothing like a little metal to get the blodd flowing.

rap

2pac, DMX , dr dre , nas , afroman , eminem , notorious B.I.G. etc..

nothing beats Machine Head's "The Blood The Sweat The Tears"..... i go totally crazy and WORK OUT LIKE A MONSTER hehehehe =)

// krafta

britney spears, nsync, enya, sometimes if i want a really good pump, i'll throw on some old jams from the new kids on the block:rolleyes:

My gym music.

It's an eclectic mix of Yanni, Nelly (the chick who does those weird noises, not the black guy who raps about money and feet), and that song about a bird flying away. They loop the three nonstop.

I need an mp3 player.

All the stuff you said (especially Pantera), Some Kittie, Soulfly, Godsmack, Disturbed, Deftones, little bit of Zombie, some Static X and the Soil cd (if you haven't gotten it yet, it is worth the money or time to download it).

Great minds think alike- I was just going to post that question- Korn, House, Rage, Tool--pretty wide range-as long as it's loud

Rage, Tool, .. and I switch it up alot.. I'll throw some techno in there now and then if it has the right beat. Rap can be cool too. Gotta love those harsh lyrics Tupac can bust out.

All of those songs listed are both hardcore AND good music, not just someone screaming. Hope this helps bros.

My gym breaks up the day between techno/house and rock I prefer the techno they have some good beats on the station they got. Rock is good but it's the same stuff usually older stuff don't like

let the record show that no matter how hard they try .. Kid Rock & Limp Bizkit are not rap

Victor, you're welcome! :D

Musclebones, I guess I can see where you're coming from on Limp Bizkit, they really arent rap for the most part. Kid Rock, however, has 7 albums out ("Grits Sandwiches For Breakfast", "The Polyfuze Method", "Fire It Up", "Early Mornin Stoned Pimp", "Devil Without a Cause", "The History of Rock", and "Cocky"). If you listen to the first 2-3, they are 95% Rap. He was on tour with Ice Cube for a while even. But it is true, his last 2-3 albums have had a lot of Rock influence, but he's still a rapper at heart. I heard in Vibe he might do a country album just to show he's versatile tho, which is kinda weird.

Payrion, I like that. I was listening to TSOL the other day and love that song I forget the name and my legs are to sore to walk, but I wanna fuck the dead! Well anyways, Zombie,SD,Metallica and when I am already pumped from eca's, country. I love listenin to country and thinking if anyone if anyone ever fucks with my wife or baby girl, that's what this training is for, KICKIN' ASS! My son will be born in 2 months and he will be brought up listening to whatever is getting me pumped and will know when it is time for him to train, the music that will push him!

HARD HOUSE

I love any kind of eletronic music...techno,trance,house,drum'n bass,goa,psychedelic,progressive,club...
All of then are good to give me ultimate pump.
anyway,i prefer HARD HOUSE.
Name some DEEJAYS? no problem....john digweed, sasha, paul oakenfold, armand van helden, fat boy slim, and marky (brazil).

I love any kind of heavy metal. i like godsmack, disturbed, linkin park, mudvayne, rob zombie...etc.

Damn bro, add some ghetto boys and some tru and this is damn close to what I listen to. I get all my shit from audiogalaxy and have 427 tracks to choose from.
Damn I just realized you do have tru "hoody hoo" but I think my favorite would have to be "freak ho's" or "swamp nigga"

Let me add a few to my Midwestside brother BeffyBulls list:

Brotha Lynch-Cue Ball
Brotha Lynch-24 Deep
Coo Coo Cal- My projects
Coo Coo Call- dedicated
Evil Loc- Anything by this fool
X-Raided- I ain't dead yet
X-Raided- Macafrema

Anything Rock. NO Rap, & Definitely NO country! Old Van Halen is good to listen to. Newer shit like Disturbed, Kid Rock(anything off of "Devil"), Papa Roach.

TA Town Backer...
San Diego? LoL! I'd say you were from "Top City", KS, bro. :D Anyway, I was hesitant to put Evil Loc on the list b/c it's very hard to get his shit outside of Kansas. Also, "Projects" by Coo Coo Cal was on my list. :) Here are the good Evil Loc songs if you're interested:
Evil Loc - "Desparado"
Evil Loc - "Game Tight"
Evil Loc - "You Cant Fuck Wit"

"All them bitch ass niggas knew that they would be consumed, by them Top City thugs and that legion of that doom" - Evil Loc, "You Cant Fuck Wit"
