What kind of Vitamin C is best?

mrt

New member
We have so many different types of Vitamin C on the market and I'm confused as hell  There are water-soluble, fat-soluble, Ester-C, time released, etc. Which kind do we have to take

Ester C is much stronger than any other form of vitamin C.

It also (once absorbed) stays in your blood stream for a MUCH longer time than regular vitamin C.

Time released is good, better than standard, but the ester C is the best hands down.

I don't know if it is made or not, but you would get the best effect (affect?) from a TIME RELEASED ECTER C.

Vitamin -C is better taken thru out the day . You could eat an ,orange,,guava, papaya, grapefruit ,lemon, tomatoes, cantalope, strawberries,re or green peppers, brussel sprouts, broccoli. Studies have shown that once a certain amount of nutrient has produced a balance any excess can accumulate in the body and remain unmetabolized. Vitamin C may be the exception ,as it's use is benificial at higher than normal amounts because of it's effects as an antioxidant. So, I'd say take a Vit -C thru out the day. 250mg to 500mg. Every 4 to 6 hours. Or Suck an Orange .

how do you define this and where do you get your information from?

the form of vitamin C with the highest absorption rate from the GI tract into the blood stream is calcium ascorbate. potassium ascorbate would be even "stronger" but it's excreted much faster from the blood into the urine.
