Not sure if this was mentioned or not but a big one that not to many people take is Chromium picolinate. Chrominum allows insulin to do its job and can boost the insulin metabolism. Insulin plays roles in control of bodyfat too. It can have anabolic effects. I read about a study done by Dr Muriel Gillman from Bemidgi State and he gave 200 mcg per day to half a group of freshman who had enrolled in weight training class. They ran a double blind study for six weeks. Those on chromium gained an average of 3.5 lbs of lean body mass. Doses of 400-800 mcg are required depending on your body weight. It can also help lower blood presure and cholesterol levels. Chromium takes time to start working but taken gradually can have anabolic effects.
