What Kind Of Music Do You Listen To When YOu Lift?

I always listen to loud, fast, angry music (like most the bands that have been posted) but the only thing I've been listing to for about 2 months is ANDREW W.K.!!!

"But if lyrics aren't your thing, then definate hardcore death metal and shit. System of a down, KoRN, NIN, Fear Factory"

Mate what are you thinking. True death metal bands make the above look like britney spears. Try Cradle of Filth, Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, SYL etc.

Heh, Yea Spazz is hilarious but still brutal enough for me to lift to.

Sure, Id love to accomodate ya endpoint but theyll be playing some poofy dance tunes at my gym, I have to supply my own Black Metal via an mp3 player.

AND Sorry about that triple Post, I didnt see that 2nd page of the thread till now.

Only two of those are true death metal.....but anyway we get your point.

I have been looking back at this post with all these "hard arsed metal Bands" yeah man i am so hard i listen to disturbed and korn.

Bands like, pig destroyer, six feet under, suffocation, nile, the bezerker, damaged are like 600000000 billion times harder than these "rap metal" comercial bands.

I dont mind the softer bands....but i dont like the attitude.

These bands are only hard in a commercial atmosphere.

I don't think it's about the hardest music...I think it's about what motivates you the most. What you enjoy. If I had to listen to death metal I'd be so annoyed I'd never lift anything but the speakers to chuck them across the room. I prefer silence, but I listen to music with motivating lyrics, tempos, beats, etc. I don't think Korn is hard, I think they're good.

well said Spatts...it's not about what is the most obscure, angriest, hardest, etc. music. Let's not turn this into a pissing contest boys! :argue: Sometimes I like a little music that I can shake my ass to...and other times I want it loud and hard...:mix:
