i need to take my running to the next level, and i need to know what are some good supplements for endurance. i do not want to use creatine, because i do not want the extra weight from the water retention.

Fucking yanks don't know fucking EPO.

and the annual EPO fest aka the Tour de France is actually on now.

It's a drug that increases the red blood cell count in the blood, resulting in better endurance. It's dangerous because it thickens the blood. Then athletes start stacking them with blood thinners and you got yourself an escalation

Tums - seriously, Ca-carbonate or sodium-bicarbonate; slide in some magnesium citrate :o

Oh, and EPO - don't worry you won't find it in a supp store, and unless you have anemia you want be getting it from rx either :o

An EQ-only cycle while doing a lot of cardio will build your endurance like a mofo without bulking you up too much. EQ results in an increase in red blood cells, but not to the dangerous levels that EPO does. Your mucles will recover more quickly in between workouts, allowing you to do more intense endurance training on a regular basis. Of course, taking in plenty of protein, glutamine, HMB, BCAAs, vitamins/minerals, prober carbs, and all the other general muscle-building and muscle-fuel stuff is just as important.

Canadianhitman made a good point, EPO IMO probably the most proven drug mentioned thus far, grant it from what I have read there is still a chance to turn your blood into yogurt from use, but thats comming from limited science I have read on it

I knew guys in college that I ran against who used it, most would go grab crappy jobs up in Colorado for the summer, if they didn't make the NCAA trackmeet would start using soon as their track seasons ended and used throughout the summer into the 1st month and a half of CC season...seamed to have even the playing field with their Kenyan counterparts
