yea basically just think positively. Bodybuilding is a sport that attracts perfectionists, so we all look at big ronnie coleman and get depressed. Sometimes i get mad because I am more of a "hardgainer" than a genetic freak. However, i know people at my highschool who are less than 110 lbs and have to lift for 2 years to get to 140. Look at both ends of the spectrum, if you are gonna compare yourself to ppl in bbing mags, u might as well do a search on the internet for picutres of the least muscular ppl alive, and also compare yourself to them, because they are just as rare as the bbers. Everytime I think damn that guy over there is 17 and started lifting 6 months ago benching 205 and now hes doing 265, i can also think, hey look at that guy over there working on his science fair project i bet he cant bench 80! Oh well, the thing with me is im 5'9 and 170 i deadlift 350, squat 275 and bench 250, but i have very small arms and i DO NOT look like i could lift those weights. I know another guy who is huge as shit and ripped but who cant bench 200, but who cares i could kick his ass anyday. LOL just think to yourself if theyre stronger that you look better, if theyre bigger, think your stronger, and if theyre bigger and stronger comapre yourself to what you used to be, and realize someday with the rate of progress u could be them.
