What happened to GOldberg?

I don't watch WWE regularly, but from what I remember he was champion over this past summer I think? Not too sure, but anyway what happened to the guy?

He isn't even listed on the wwe website as one of the superstars. How do you go from champion, to not even listed on the website?

A: Your contract comes up and you haven't been the draw for what you are charging. He essentially priced himself out of the market.

His last match (I think) was against Brock Lesnar (it was his last match also.) Only difference was that Brock left to pursue his football career. (What team did he play for last season? LOL! Jack ass!) I'm pretty sure that Goldberg left on netter terms than that. I think he also was out with an injury.

Yes he has done movies, but nothing to be a claim to fame.

The guys that didn't like him was because of his ego, plus he worked very stiff. (Layman's terms...guys got hurt when they wrestled him. He wasn't good at protecting other people.)

And now he doing some Car program, I think on the Speed Channel.

From what I have seen and heard, Bill has not said bad things about his wrestling career, but he does not feel any urgency to go back to it.
 
From what I gather, he was hard to work with. he would not put other wrestlers over, paid to much, and was VERY stiff in the ring.
 
I watched him during his "winning streak" in the old WCW and it was FUN!

And then ... like a lot of good things ... the writers and owners wrote him out.

It was downhill after that. Now he is on cable some where.

I saw the last Lesnar/Goldberg match and it was absolutely great. Adios match for both of them.
 
I personally feel the shows are better off without him, his persona got old to me. Some may disagree though.
 
Goldberg is in so cal I see him every now and then he is a good guy. He owns a kickboxing gym in oceanside and is making a half asses effort of get a no holds barred fight team started. He wants to call it "team slay" no one has the balls to tell him that name sucks.

wow, i haven't looked at this post in a long time. actually goldberg does suck. he has no wrestling tallent. he has about four moves most of which suck. he has made a career out of the hype he built in wcw. he is worthless. just a person in the right place at the right time. do you know why he would win matches in that dominating way. because he sucks and if the match would go any longer everyone would realize that he sucks get board because his matches suck.
 
Vince Mcmahon did not treat any of the WCW talent well with acception of the guys he got before he bought WCW.
Its a shame. There were a lot of guys from WCW who could have made WWE better.

yea you are right about that. i don't think goldberg was one of them though. he actually had the oppertunity to come into the wwe a lot sonner but didn't want to. because of his contract he was getting psid for doing nothing. if he would have come to the wwe sonner he would have gotten paid less. so he waited out his contract.

Goldbergs the man. With Batista out for Triceps surgery they have to bring him back. I know its stupid and fake as hell but its entertainment. The only legitimatley jacked guy on smackdown is Bobby Lashley and that guy can hardly say his own name with that greasy underbite. Goldberg does have an ego problem though and refuses to sign a contract whereas anyone will legitmatley beat him in any match.

He continually bit the hand that fed him, both in WCW and WWF.

I really enjoyed his matches. One of the best was the last one vs Lesnar when they both were going out.

No, everybodys on the sauce, well was before the steroid ban, but yeah Lashley is jacked as hell, but nobody wants to see pencil necked champions like Edge. Goldbergs, Batistas, Hogans ... in sports entertainment size does matter.
